So today we taught some classes at the Nan Jung English Village and it was... wait for iiiiiiiiiiiiiit! AWESOME! I started out in the Cafe with one of the other Teachers. We basically had to teach them some vocabulary words about food and then teach them how to make a PB&J. The funniest part about that was that they find putting Peanut butter and Jelly together repulsive and they resist at all costs! :P But of course we told them it's good and finally they'll eat it, and most of them like it in the end. Then we played Hangman with the vocabulary words we taught them. The first group was really smart when it came to English and they were getting everything, but then the next group gave us blank stares throughout the class. It was hard at first, but they are actually funner (Yes that's a word, I'm an English Teacher) to work with because you have to get really animated and... loud :P after two more classes of equally enlightening blank stares as was found in the second class, we went to lunch time. Oh and one of the periods all the Children lined up and asked for my autograph! After lunch we went to the next room and taught children about Photography. I was really stoked about the Cafe because of the food, but when it came to the photography... let's just say my first class kinda bombed in the beginning :P They were so confused! But finally I got around all the confusion and we got to the part where we got to dress up and take pictures with the kids... THAT WAS AWESOME! At first they were shy, but then once you start putting on ridiculous things, they start to laugh and giggle amongst themselves and then they start dressing up. Then during the picture parts some of the kids do the funniest poses! The other classes got easier as we learned a method of teaching the classes, and of course I was praying that God would help me through it after what happened the first class! After school was over we did some shopping, then we went to a place called Donutes (I know, that's not how you spell donuts) and hung out with some friends. Now, I shall go to bed...
Oh for all you Patch the Pirate fans out there, I was able to sing the song "A peanut butter and Jelly sandwich" song :P
