I have a confession. I have neglected to post anything on my blog! I know, I know you probably already knew that, but doesn't it make it a little bit easier to swallow once I finally admit to it in front of the world wide web and its millions of daily users? I think it does.
Now that that has been said, I must get to the actual blogging stuff before a lynch mob comes knocking on my door because I spent my entire post with some stupid introduction. So here goes
Truth is because I spent so long on procrastinating to write a new post, I am having trouble remembering what I have done. So I am going to have to systematically go through each day (mentally) and write down the highlights.
Let's see...after I went through my mental log of my blog (Yes I know that rhymes but I actually just went through my blog on another tab) I noticed two things. One my last post was on September 15th and two my first ever post on this blog was exactly one month from yesterday making me be in Taiwan for exactly one month. (Fanfare time)
Now that I know when I last posted, I can now go on to writing what has happened since... Oh yes, we went to Meiho University to meet some Vietnamese students and we taught them the Waka Waka dance :D After that Dr. Chen sang a song for everyone and gave us all meals. After lunch we got a tour of the Campus which was really cool! I can't remember much after that for that day, so I'm gonna move on to what else I've done in my blogging absence.
We went to Boys town where we all played basketball with the boys who live there. It was really neat hanging out with those boys, they are so full of joy! After we finished there we said our goodbyes and I left with a heart full of joy and a severely bruised finger :P We then went and had this really good dessert that is shaved ice topped with fruit. It's REALLY good :D
The next thing we did in my blogging absence was we went to the Kenting beach to meet up with Jared (One of the teachers who had gone there over the weekend for a sabbatical type thing)That beach is awesome, but even more awesome then the other time because we had a bunch of friends with us! We then did some shopping around, which was also fun because... I FINALLY GOT MY COIN PURSE! :D It's got a little elephant on it and I put this little Key Chain thing on it that says Manly Man or Man of Bravery in Chines3
Oh! HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN! We went to Kaohsiung the other night with some friends to go to Burger King and go to the Kaohsiung Nigh market! That was awesome! We met up with some Taiwanese who talked with us because they wanted to practice English. We also bumped into some European students who wanted to talk with us because we were the same :P (Silly French JK) I aslo got a neat bag
Now to get to more recent history. Three other teachers and I went to another EV at Tang Lung to teach for three days in a row. One half day, and what was supposed to be two full days. However, the school that was supposed to come in the afternoon on the last day came on the afternoon of the second day, so we had twice as many students that day! However (as Twila Paris is saying in my ears as I am writing this now) God is in Control and he worked it out so that nothing wrong happened. :D What was I teaching You may ask, I was teaching in the room called "Toy Repair Shop." In that room is a big Puppet Show stage and a bunch of Puppets. So I decided that I would do a Puppet show which has gone AWESOMELY! :D I couldn't have asked for a better turnout and I thank God for his faithfulness to show that he is in control in EVERY situation! :D
And that is what I have been doing in my blogging absence. I was so tired last night that I went to bed at like 9 something and woke up at like 10 a nice 12 hour sleep for a awesome packed week! :D What am I going to do now? Go get some lunch of course :D
